Troy awards $90k to athletic youth programs

More money will be coming to beef up several youth service programs in Troy.
City leaders presented a $90,000 check Tuesday morning at the Troy CYO Center.
The funding will go to more than a half a dozen organizations in the city. The organizations will be able to use the money for new equipment and capital expenses.
Some of the groups receiving the funding include Troy and Lansingburgh’s Little League and Pop Warner teams – for both baseball and softball.
