Troy man, 74, charged with raping girl, 13

A Troy man has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
Perry Ransford, 74, is facing rape and sex abuse charges.
The alleged abuse happened in February, police said.
The victim was a visitor in Ransford’s apartment, said police, and they had no other existing relationship.
