Troy man charged after stealing from farm

A man from Troy faces a robbery charge after allegedly stealing from a farm Monday morning and threatening the employees with a weapon.

34-year-old Michael Hepp stole money from the Hayner Farm in Halfmoon, shortly after 8 a.m., the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.
Hepp threatened to use a gun, the sheriff’s office said.
No one was hurt.
Hepp was found nearby, with a description provided by an employee, police said.
He was arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail.
