Troy man faces child pornography charges after search of home

A Troy man is under arrest after police said they found child pornography at his home.

Jason Mariano, 24, was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

His arrest followed a search of his home last month.

Mariano was arraigned in Pittstown Town Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
