Troy man guilty of murdering 60-year-old uncle
A Troy man was convicted on Friday of killing his uncle last year in Albany.
A jury found Isaiah Anderson, 38, guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Anderson shot Alonzo Ford, 60, on April 9, 2023 in his Morris Street home.

A jury found Isaiah Anderson, 38, guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Anderson shot Alonzo Ford, 60, on April 9, 2023 in his Morris Street home.
Anderson was sent to Albany County Jail, and is due to be sentenced July 26 at 1 p.m.
The Albany County District Attorney’s Office did not comment on a motive for the shooting out of respect for the privacy of the family.
