A Troy man will spend seven years in prison for assaulting two Albany police officers.

Courtland Hall, 24, was sentenced on Wednesday morning. He was convicted back in January.

Hall hurt two police officers near Morton Avenue and South Pearl Street on March 21, 2023. The officers were trying to take away an illegal, loaded gun from another person at the time.

Hall also faces three years of post-release supervision.
