The annual Memorial Day Parade in Troy returned Monday for the first time since COVID.
Marching bands, little leaguers, community organizations, firetrucks, military apparatus, and more all marched proudly up 5th Avenue.
Both sides of the street were lined with spectators to honor the brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
There was a cookout at Powers Park in Lansingburgh after the parade, with some celebrations moved to the Forty-One Sports Bar & Grille on 112th Street due to inclement weather.
Hear from some of the revelers as they discuss how grateful they are that this parade is back, by watching the video of Dan Levy’s story.
