Troy Police investigating four shootings in four days
Troy Police are investigating multiple shootings in four days, including two that happened less than 12 hours apart on Monday.
The latest one happened at 1:30 p.m. in the area of Fifth Avenue near Ingalls Avenue.
Troy Police got a report of a shots fired call, they said. Nobody was hurt, but the suspect left the scene.
The car the suspect was driving is a gray sedan that was heading south, investigators said.
Just hours before that at 3 a.m. near 13th Street and Hoosick Street, a man was shot in the torso, after an argument with a suspect. The victim is in stable condition, police said.
This follows two other weekend shootings in Troy The first one happened Friday after 5 p.m., near Third and Congress streets. Police say a man was shot in the leg after he got into a fight with another man, who pulled out a gun and fired. The victim has since been released from the hospital, according to police.
Hours later, around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police said there were gunshots on North 1st Street. No one was hurt.
Each incident appears to be targeted, said police, and there is no threat to the public.
