Niskayuna crash kills one person

A person is dead after a head-on crash on Troy Schenectady Road near Hickory Road Sunday.
Police said at about 6:09 p.m. Sunday, two vehicles collided in a head-on crash.
One driver, 55-year-old Anne Burchhardt of Glenville, died at Albany Medical Center. The other driver, 42-year-old Maureen Morrow, was treated and released at Ellis Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Morrow is now charged with reckless driving and manslaughter.
Police say no one else was in the vehicles.
