Troy welcomes new firefighters at hiring and promotion ceremony
There are now 17 more firefighters in the city of Troy.

A promotion and hiring ceremony was held at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom on Campbell Avenue.
In addition to the new hires – four firefighters were promoted.
Two are now captains, two are now lieutenants.
Each of the new candidates passed the physical ability test and a thorough mental health exam.
Congratulations to all of the newly promoted and the new firefighters.
