Troy woman celebrates 100th birthday
Marie King of Troy turned 100 this week.
A party was held at the Van Rensselaer Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Home on Thursday, where Marie lives.
King was born on October 12, 1923, in Troy.
She graduated from Catholic Central High School, and worked for many years at Cluett Peabody as a seamstress.
She received a county commendation before the cake was cut.
