The U.S. attorney’s office says 71-year-old Rosemary Coles of Troy admitted to being a member of a marijuana and THC trafficking organization.

The organization cultivated the drug in Fresno, California and shipped thousands of kilograms across the United States.

Coles received the shipments of marijuana to her home in Troy, where she was paid $300-$400 for each package.
She admitted to receiving about 104 packages containing a total of 811 kilograms of marijuana to her home between August 2018 and May 2022.

She faces 10 years to life in prison with a maximum fine of $10 million at sentencing.
