TSA preparing for increase in summer travel

As Memorial Day weekend approaches, the TSA is preparing to handle an increase in the number of travelers who will be flying out of Albany International Airport.
The TSA has new scanners that allow officers to get a detailed 3D image of the contents of carry-on bags, they said.
That means this new technology lets travelers leave electronics – like an iPad or laptop – inside a carry-on bag.
Teenagers may now also accompany their TSA pre-check enrolled parents or guardians through screening when traveling on the same flight.
