Corinth man charged as fugitive from justice

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people on fugitive from justice warrants.

David J. Fink, 27, of Malta, is accused of leaving the state of Georgia and fleeing to Saratoga County to avoid prosecution in a county there. He had an active warrant on a charge of aggravated assault, police said. 

Fink was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.

In an unrelated case, Travis J. Whipple, 43, of Corinth, was arrested on a warrant from Polk County, Florida. He is accused of violating the conditions of his probation, according to police.

Whipple was arraigned in Ballston Spa Village Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.

Both men are due back in court at a later date.
