Two dead after crashing vehicle into Niskayuna tree

Two people are dead after crashing their vehicle into a tree in Niskayuna.

The crash happened at about 4:40 a.m. Saturday on Saint David’s Lane near Morgan Avenue, Niskayuna Police said. The vehicle was on fire when police and firefighters arrived.

The vehicle had two occupants and both were deceased. Their names are not being released until their next of kin are notified.

Niskayuna Police are working with the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the crash.
