Two Duanesburg brothers found; Police say they stole car

Two Duanesburg brothers have been located after leaving their residence early Tuesday morning wearing only T-shirts, pajama pants and sneakers.

The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office received a call at about 3:45 a.m. reporting two vulnerable adults, ages 22 and 21, who left their residence on Mariaville Road.

The investigation determined that the two brothers had stolen a vehicle in the area of State Route 30 in the town of Esperance, police said. They were found at the Walmart in the village of Cobleskill. They were in good health and are being interviewed at the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office at this time.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
