Two people charged with gun crimes in Pittsfield

Two Pittsfield men are facing gun charges.

Police responded Sunday afternoon to Columbus Ave. for a reported assault.

The victim told police he had been threatened.

Police arrested and charged Michael Barnes, 49, with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Officers were called to the Cumberland Farms on First Street later Sunday evening for a report a man making a threat with a gun.

Police later arrested Tristan Kalinowski-Barnett, 19.
