Two people convicted in murder of 16-year-old in 2022
William Webb, 29, of Brooklyn, and Schenectady resident Ramel Gulley, 29, were found guilty Friday in the shooting death of Anthony Christopher, 16, on Jan. 5, 2022.
Two people have been convicted of killing a teen in January 2022.
William Webb, 29, of Brooklyn, and Schenectady resident Ramel Gulley, 29, were found guilty Friday in the shooting death of Anthony Christopher, 16, on Jan. 5, 2022. Prosecutors said that Webb, Gulley and Kahlil Clay, who lives in New York City, barged into the Christopher home and shot him multiple times in the torso and once in the head.
The Troy Police Department and the FBI helped track down Webb and Clay and brought them back to the area in May 2022.
Gulley was already in custody on unrelated charges.
Webb and Gulley will be sentenced on April 19. They face a maximum sentence of 25 years to life.
Clay is scheduled to go to trail on April 8.
