Two teens admit to killing Schoharie County man

Two teenagers have admitted to killing a Richmondville man and stealing from him.

Devon Hunter and Jeffrey McGough, both 19, pleaded guilty in Schoharie County Court on Tuesday to first-degree manslaughter, felony robbery and cruelty to animals for causing the death of Connor Delaney.

Hunter admitted he shot Delaney multiple times. Delaney’s dog Bo was also shot and killed. Hunter faces 20 years in prison and McGough faces 17 ½.

Another 17-year-old was arrested in the case.
