UAlbany has a plan to help with the shortage of healthcare workers.

The school is launching two new degree programs – a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in population health nursing.

Enrollment for both programs is now open, and courses will start in fall 2023.

The school says nearly 30,000 registered nurse positions requiring a bachelor’s degree were posted throughout New York state during 2022.
