UAlbany’s Move-In Day

The class of 2026 had a warm welcome at the University of Albany. Today, about 2,700 students are moving into their dorms.
The school says this incoming class is one of the most diverse in the school’s history. More than 44% of the students are coming from historically under represented groups.
There are events all week going on to welcome the new students. They will conclude with Friday’s opening convocation ceremony.
The first day of classes is on Monday Aug. 22.
