The United States and British military launched airstrikes against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.

This is in response to the Houthi’s continued attacks on ships in the Red Sea.

Military officials say the airstrikes hit 18 Houthi targets at eight locations across Yemen, including underground weapons storage facilities.

The Houthis have carried out more than 45 attacks on commercial and naval ships in the Red Sea since mid-November.
