United States Postal Service to hike prices during holidays

The United States Postal Service has filed a notice of a price increase for the holidays this year.
The release was filed Wednesday, and they have said that shipping gifts will have an additional cost.
According to the Postal Service, the rates will be increased based on the weight of the package and the distance to its delivery.
The temporary prices will begin October 2 and continue through January 23.
