Valatie-based company installs 100% hydropowered electric vehicle charger

A Valatie based company is one of the first in the world to install a 100% hydropowered electric vehicle charger.
PlugIn Stations Online installed the device late last year at their warehouse in Columbia County.
The charger is only 100 feet from the Valatie Falls Hydropower plant.
The two companies work together to provide clean power and charging solutions for the country’s infrastructure. They have been working on this project for several years, said John Doran, the owner of Valatie Falls Hydropower.
