Vermont State Police will be enforcing a campaign to keep people safe in their cars.

The “Click It or Ticket” campaign begins next Monday.

Officers will be using roving patrols and checkpoints throughout Bennington County and the state of Vermont.

They will be enforcing aggressive driving, speeding, distracted, impaired driving and seatbelt use.

Bennington Police say 63% of fatalities related to car crashes were because people were not wearing their seatbelts.
