Tierra Oliver, a veteran from Middletown, received the keys to a new ride in Albany on Wednesday as part of Progressive’s 11th annual “Keys to Progress.”
Oliver is an Air Force Veteran and single mother who dealt with mental health concerns that led her to lose everything.
She says she will be using her car to help take care of her daughter and elderly mother.
The Albany veteran adds she started an organization called Fatherless Yet Fabulous, which is a group for fatherless youth overcoming significant mental illness.
