The Milton Terrace Elementary School in Ballston Spa held their annual Veterans Day recognition ceremony on Friday.

More than 50 veterans representing the various branches of the military attended the event.
Jakob Nichols – a recent Ballston Spa High School graduate – and alumnus of the school was the guest speaker who read to the students.

Nichols has just completed basic training.

Students presented the veterans with gift bags and items showing their appreciation.
