Victim seriously hurt in Troy shooting

A Troy shooting has left one person hospitalized with serious injuries.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. Thursday, near 6^th Avenue and Swift Street, Troy Police said.

It appears two groups had been fighting before the shooting, police said.

The suspect fled before police arrived.
