A man was stabbed with a screwdriver in Albany, police said. It happened around 11 a.m. Monday morning around Franklin and Bassett streets.

A man was stabbed with a screwdriver in Albany, police said.

It happened around 11 a.m. Monday morning around Franklin and Bassett streets.

Travon Jackson, 30, went inside the home without permission and was trying to collect property, investigators said.

A fight started and the victim was stabbed.

The victim wasn’t seriously hurt.

Jackson was charged with burglary, attempted petit larceny and weapons possession.
