Violent crime in a peaceful neighborhood

ROTTERDAM – According to neighbors, Fern Avenue in Rotterdam was buzzing with police activity most of Friday, beginning just before 2:00 p.m.

Late Friday night police confirmed they are dealing with a death investigation. Few other details were released.

There is yellow crime scene tape cordoning off a home half way down the block.
