Volunteers load up Toys for Tots truck for distribution

Toys for Tots was busy Wednesday sorting and organizing toys for distribution throughout the Capital Region.
There is a lot of activity at the organization’s warehouse in Mechanicville, which has become a more permanent home for the drive. Some members of the NewsChannel 13 family were helping with the effort Wednesday to make sure every kid has something under the tree this Christmas.
The age group organizers look for the most is 11 and older because that tends to get overlooked as people think of the younger age. Among the good ideas for that are complicated Lego sets and board games.
