Walkout ceremony being held for Troy Police sergeant

Troy Police were holding a walkout ceremony on Friday, to honor the career of Sergeant Robert Smith.
Smith joined the Troy Police Department in 2003, and was promoted to sergeant in 2020.
During his career, he has served as a K-9 handler and trainer, a mobile command center operator, and a firearms instructor.
He has been recognized for his work with several awards and medals.
