Shelters open for warmth, resources in Waterford

The Waterford Police Department announced that given the extended power outages in Waterford, two locations are now available as of Sunday morning for anyone in need of warmth or other resources.

Watertown-Halfmoon School: 125 Middletown Road, Waterford; use the main entrance, resources available in the cafeteria UNTIL 6 P.M.
Waterford Senior Center: 125 2nd Street, Waterford: OPEN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Police say there is no update as of Sunday morning from National Grid in terms of restoration services.

Waterford PD encourages residents to call them at 518-237-3341 or 911, should residents need immediate assistance.
