Warren County man charged with impersonating police officer

A Warren County man is accused of impersonating a police officer.

Joshua Copeland of Queensbury was wearing body armor and a shirt with the New York State Police logo, when he allegedly went to a Lake George business and tried to get someone’s personal information.

Copeland was employed as a security officer for SUNY Adirondack at the time, investigators said.

He is now charged with felony criminal impersonation.
