Warren County seeks to match young adults with jobs, internships

Warren County is working to reach out to young adults in the community. The Department of Workforce Development is seeking input from local businesses about how to better serve young people.

The organization offers a variety of programs – including internship help, high school job fairs and GED classes.

“The most influential force in a young person’s life is a caring adult. Put that caring adult and youth together in the workplace and you have a recipe for success,” Warren County Director of Workforce Development Liza Ochsendorf said in a statement.

The department has sent out a survey they encourage local businesses to fill out.
