Warren County, SPCA at odds over animal cruelty case contract

Warren County and the SPCA of Upstate New York are having trouble agreeing on an animal cruelty case contract.

Warren County is balking at the SPCA’s asking price of $15,000 a month to provide services in cruelty cases.

It was discussed at last week’s county finance committee meeting.

The SPCA submitted the only proposal before the window closed on March 25.

However, the county administrator did not recommend moving forward.
