Crews worked into Thursday night trying to repair a huge water main break in Troy, according to Mayor Carmella Mantello.
The break happened in a 12-inch main that feeds into a 24-inch main, that services all of South Troy.
Water service was not interrupted, the mayor said, though NewsChannel 13 learned several buildings had no water immediately following the break.
There will be a temporary patch put in the area, the mayor said, with a permanent paving done in about two weeks. That paving should only take 24 to 36 hours, Mantello said.
