Waterford set for dragon boat festival Saturday
Also happening Saturday – the annual dragon boat races return to Waterford.

The festival is a day full of dragon boat racing, friendly competition, and awards.
The tournament-style competition starts at 10 o’clock Saturday morning and is expected to end by 3:30.
Team check-in starts at 8 o’clock.
A dragon boat is a 42-foot, lightweight boat powered by up to 20 paddlers and one drummer.
The event raises money for a different cause each year.
This year, the money raised from the event will benefit To Life!
It’s a non-profit organization that supports those dealing with a breast cancer.
