Watervliet man convicted of raping child in 2020

A Watervliet man has been convicted of raping a child in 2020.
Eric Edwards, 70, now faces up to 25 years in state prison.
The rape happened on Fourth Avenue. The victim was under 11. Prosecutors say the two knew each other.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 3.
