Watervliet police getting lots of calls about Level 3 sex offender

Watervliet police say they’re getting a lot of calls since Jamal Ali’s arrest.
As NewsChannel 13 first reported on Wednesday, the Level 3 sex offender was arrested, accused of assaulting a man with autism.
We also learned that he had a violent criminal history, including a conviction for forcible rape in Buffalo in 1984.
Police are trying to determine if Ali has victimized – or tried to victimize – anyone.
