Teen charged in Watervliet shooting

A teen is under arrest in Watervliet. The 15-year-old shot at a car with people inside, said police.
Police say the incident happened February 3 around 23rd Street and Whitehall Street.
Officers found multiple shell casings, and said they determined the teenager fired multiple rounds that hit a car.
No one was hurt.
The teenager was arrested in Albany last week.
The case is now headed to family court.

Meantime, residents in the neighborhood tell NewsChannel 13 they have mixed feelings about safety.
Some say they don’t have any issues, while others tell us they’re moving away from here because of the crime.
