Watervliet teen charged in school shooting threat
A second high school student is under arrest in Watervliet for allegedly threatening to “shoot up the school.”
The 14-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday, police said, after allegedly making the threat to a Watervliet High School staff member over a school policy.
She was charged with making a terroristic threat, released on an appearance ticket and ordered to probation.
Another student in the district – a 15-year-old girl – was arrested for a similar threat two weeks ago.
