Whitehall man sentenced for sexually abusing young girl

A man from Whitehall is going to prison after admitting he tried to sexually abuse a young girl.
Under a plea deal, Kenneth Reed, 37, was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted sex abuse of a child under the age of 9.
The plea came just before his retrial was about to begin, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Post-Star.
He had been convicted two years ago, and sentenced to 15 years, before the retrial was ordered in response to an appeal.
