39,000 pound food donation comes to Greenwich

A large donation will help feed families in several counties across our area.
A truckload with 24 pallets carrying nearly 39,000 pounds of food from the Bishop’s Central Storehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah arrived at Comfort Food Community in Greenwich.
The donation was presented by the local president of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. It includes staples like rice, beans, beef stew, and canned fruits and vegetables for the CFC, which oversees the Greenwich Food Center.
