$725K grant to help Capital Region nonprofits
Record-breaking funds are going to help five Capital Region nonprofits. Highmark Blue Shield of Northeastern New York made the announcement on Monday.
A grant of $725,000 is being given out. It’s the largest grant since the Blue Fund launched in 2018.
Representatives from some of the recipients will be speaking Wednesday at the Highmark Blue Shield campus in Latham.
They include CEK RN Consulting, Maria College’s Office of Opportunity, Safe Inc. of Schenectady, Soul Fire Farm Institute, and Capital District YMCA.
