Adirondack Thunder raises record amount for cancer charity
The Adirondack Thunder hockey team raised a record amount during the annual “Stick It to Cancer” weekend, with a total of $46,897.38 raised.
The Adirondack Thunder hockey team raised a record amount during the annual “Stick It to Cancer” weekend, with a total of $46,897.38 collected.
The Thunder wore special jerseys in late March, which were auctioned off to benefit the CR Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital.
The money will help offset the burden of co-payments, transportation and lodging for people undergoing cancer treatment.
