Victory Church in Albany is spreading holiday cheer and making sure local children have gifts this Christmas.

More than 1,000 stockings filled with goodies were given away to kids in the community.

This comes as many organizations in our area have been seeing an increase in people needing help this holiday season.

The stockings were handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
