Amsterdam school staff to play emergency crews in friendly basketball game

An upcoming event in Amsterdam combines charity and competition.

You can watch the Amsterdam School District staff take on members of the Amsterdam Police, Amsterdam Fire Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in a friendly game of basketball.

The game will be played on Wednesday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics and the district’s educational foundation.
