Members of the Pittsfield Police Department are sending their thanks to an anonymous donor.

They say someone dropped off cold weather care bags for officers to hand out.

The bags include gloves, snacks, soap, a toothbrush, and other items.

The department is sending a special thanks to the mysterious benefactor.
