Back-to-school haircuts offered to Schenectady kids for $1

Children in Schenectady will be able to get back-to-school haircuts for $1.

The Schenectady Police Department is co-sponsoring the discounted cuts in partnership with three local barbershops.

Cuts and Blends at 789 State St. will be offering haircuts on Sept. 1 from noon to 5 p.m. On Sept. 2, High Profile at 245 Broadway will have cuts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Union Street Barbershop at 1609 Union St. will offer them from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
